LUCY

... the mystery continues
Electroatomic™ interludes inspired by the Lucy poems
We all know that Bill Wordsworth was a big hearted guy, especially when it came to the pathetic downtrodden types living near the cottage he shared with his sister Dorothy in the Lake District. But this is essentially boring. The interesting question is, Who was Lucy of the famous Lucy poems? Did she live nearby? Did Bill sneak over to her house after sunset? Did she cause Bill strange fits? Let’s face it, living with your sister in some godforsaken section of England in 1799 could give anybody strange fits, so maybe we can’t blame Lucy. This collection of musical interludes, however, inspired by the Lucy poems, sheds no light on the mystery of Lucy’s identity or whether she existed at all. Bill may just have made her up. Poets do that now and then, sometimes during strange fits. Perhaps First Lady Laura Bush will look into this, but after her last poetry fiasco, we can’t really count on her. Perhaps we’ll never know. But, while you’re reading the poems and wondering what kind of strange fits plagued old Bill, listen to the selections on this CD. If you think some of the poems are strange, wait until you here this stuff. - Croscrane™Selections include: strange fits, the last green field, wayward thoughts, evening moon, human fears, melancholy dream, mossy stone, motions of the storm, rivulets dance, she dwelt among - all brought to you in Croscrane E-stereo™ with extraordinarily strange effects

| "SHE DWELT AMONG THE UNTRODDEN WAYS"
SHE dwelt among the untrodden ways Beside the springs of Dove, A Maid whom there were none to praise And very few to love: A violet by a mossy stone Half hidden from the eye! -- Fair as a star, when only one Is shining in the sky. She lived unknown, and few could know When Lucy ceased to be; But she is in her grave, and, oh, The difference to me! 1799.
